Snow Tubing at Minocqua Winter Park!

We offer the following options for tubing enthusiasts: a larger hill with a tow lift and a small walk-up hill. We recommend registering in advance to secure your tickets for the large tubing hill.

Large Tubing Hill

The new large tubing hill at Minocqua Winter Park—The Flying Squirrel—features a 630 foot run with a 70 foot vertical. A tubing tow lift will transport you to the top of the hill run after run.

Please pre-register here. Before your session, check in at the Chalet front desk to sign waivers and pick up tickets. Check in begins 30 minutes before each tubing session.

All participants must be at least 42″ to use the large hill. Helmets are recommended. Only one person per tube, and no personal tubes are allowed.

The large tubing hill requires a session ticket. Tube rentals are included in the price.

Small Tubing Hill

Great fun for the whole family! This small hill is located right outside the Chalet main windows and is open daily as conditions allow from 9am-4pm. 

Cost: Free (donations appreciated)

Small Tubing Hill Policies:

  • All tubers use the hill at their own risk
  • No personal sleds are allowed. Everyone who uses the small tubing hill is required to use only the Winter Park tubes. These are free to borrow. 
  • Tubing is ONLY allowed where indicated between the two wooden posts.
  • Please clear the bottom of the hill quickly when finished with your run.
  • Walk up on the right side of the hill. Do not walk up the middle of the run or on the ski trail.
  • All tubers must obey instructions given by the tubing attendant
  • Hill is subject to close without warning if conditions are deteriorating
