Breaking News for all you dog lovers out there! After a 5 year break, we are excited to announce that we are bringing back the 5km Winter Park Bark Skijor race on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025.
This fan-favorite event was always such a fun way to celebrate the end of our winter season, and celebrate our 4-legged friends! We love dogs here at Minocqua Winter Park, and we especially love seeing the wide variety of breeds that join their humans for a ski adventure. From Newfies to Yorkies, all shapes and sizes are welcome! The 5k race is open to experienced and novice participants and is held on our marked skijor route. As a “Freestyle” race, both skate and classic skis are allowed.
Registration is open now! Prices will jump as we approach race day, so don’t delay. Sign up before the end of October to get the best deal!
