Our Way of Capping Off the Ski Season with Some Fun!
At Minocqua Winter Park on March 1, 2025
Costumes are encouraged for all racers in any of the events. Choose between skate or classic techniques and pick how many loops you’d like to complete! This year’s format features a one-loop 6km race or a two-loop 12km race. This is a great race for both the experienced skier and for those who want to dip their toes in the ski racing world. Join us for a day of fun!
Stick Around For The Beat The Bunny 2k
This fan-favorite youth ski race starts at 1pm. Perfect for kids! Can the kiddos beat the bunnies around Base Loop this year? Or will those furry fiends finally win? Click here for more info.
Registration Information
- A special team rate of $15 per racer will be offered to any elementary through high school organized team. Please contact us at andrea@minocquawinterpark.org to get your team registered.
- Registration is open online until 11:59pm on Friday, February 28th 2025
- Day of registration will be available at the Chalet.

Bib Pick Up
Bib pick up will be available at the Chalet on Saturday, March 1st
Participants must display their bib on the front of their body for it to be read properly
Route Description
The Loopy Loppet features a selection of trails that historically hold snow very well late in the season: Base Loop, Tornado Alley, Survivor, and Nose Dive Alley.
There will be one aid station located at the Chalet which will offer bananas, oranges, water, and gatorade.

10:15 am – Bib Pick Up / Late Registration Closes for 12k Skate
10:20 am – Bib Pick Up / Late Registration Closes for 12k Classic
10:25 am – Bib Pick Up / Late Registration Closes for 6k Skate
10:30 am – 12km Skate
10:30 am – Bib Pick Up / Late Registration Closes for 6k Classic
10:35 am – 12k Classic
10:40 am – 6k Skate
10:45 am – 6k Classic
11:30 am – Post Race Meal/Beverage Available at Chalet
12:00 pm – Overall Awards Announced (Age Group Awards Available at awards table)

Awards
- Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each age group.
- 10 and under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Post Race Celebration
Join us for a party afterwards! All racers will receive a ticket for a complimentary hot meal and beverage (beer and n/a options).
