Perseid Meteor Shower Watch and Stargazing

August 12th, 2025 8:30pm-10:00pm

Join us on August 12th for an amazing night of stargazing featuring the expert astronomers from The Northwoods Explorers! With clear skies we hope to see a few Perseid meteors coming from the NE on the horizon. Unfortunately, this year a nearly full moon rises in the E at 9:30 PM. We will have telescopes setup to view a few deep sky objects, double stars, clusters, craters on the moon and maybe Saturn at the end of the program.

Gates open at 7:30pm with an informal introduction at 8:30pm. This program will be weather dependent. 

A $10 donation per vehicle is recommended.
