Pedal through the park on a wide variety of trail types!

Check out our single track trails with exhilarating downhills and features or choose a mellower jaunt and get some distance on our wide ski trails. Are you a gravel grinder? Utilize the parking lot and check out the nearby routes. Please respect trail signage – not all ski trails are open to the public during the summer months.

Mountain Bike Ski Trail Routes

Currently mountain bikes can be ridden on most of the maintained ski trails in the summer. These trails are mowed frequently and offer beginner to expert level ski trail terrain. These wider trails are great for families and groups or those looking to log some longer distance rides. Please respect trail signage – not all ski trails are open to the public during the summer months.

Single Track Mountain Bike Trails

In 2021, we worked with local trail builders and IMBA to develop a short single-track mountain biking trail system which brings bikers to the top of Squirrel Hill. Currently there is one uphill route and 2 downhill routes. Paying homage to the historic fire tower which riders will pass under, the uphill route is now called Smoke Chaser and two downhill routes have been named Fire Line and Bucket Drop.

Gravel Route Options

Minocqua Winter Park is located right in the middle of some great gravel routes such as Manhardt Rd, Scotchman Lake Rd, and Camp 9 Rd. These remote roads connect to other Rustic Roads and Forest Service Roads. Utilize our parking lot to start your adventure. You can even cut through the park on the grassy/dirt ski trails to mix and match your surface types. Please respect trail signage – not all ski trails are open to the public during the summer months. Please be aware that most of these gravel roads are also ATV routes.
