Crews went out to assess the candlelight snowshoe route this morning with good news. Tomorrow’s candlelight snowshoe event is a GO!
We will light up a route to the top of Squirrel hill which will have a campfire and a short route to Wolf’s Den shelter where we’ll have a campfire with hot chocolate and marshmallows. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trails during the event, however, they are not allowed inside the Chalet.
For a $5 donation, you can also enjoy wine (or n/a beverages) and light snacks back at the chalet. Our grab and go snack bar will be open for more options at an additional charge.
Traction devices are recommended, but there is a mix of bare ground and snow on the route. Tickets may be purchased online or at the door.
