Rick’s Hardwax Café has a full menu of grilled sandwiches, brats, homemade chili, and much more during the holidays and weekends, with a smaller menu of coffee, soups, and snacks served on quieter weekdays.
Located on Nepco’s Cruise ski trail and Breaking Free snowshoe trail, the Tea House accepts donations for cookies and tea. Donations may be made both at the Tea House and inside the Chalet, so don’t worry if you forget to pack a few quarters before you start your adventure on our trails.
Lost & Found Policy
Minocqua Winter Park staff will respond on a “best effort” basis to requests for lost or missing equipment and clothing based upon our Return Item Agreement.
We discourage guests from bringing personal kitchen electrical appliances to the chalet, such as microwaves, roaster ovens, and slow-cookers. Large groups are encourage to coordinate their catering needs with Rick’s Hardwax Café. If you must bring personal appliances, Winter Park reserves the right to ensure that your device is safe to use, and we kindly ask for a $1-$5 donation to our Trail Fund per appliance in exchange for electrical usage.
