Due to low snow conditions and a warm forecast, Minocqua Winter Park is canceling Loopy Loppet 2024. We appreciate all the skiers who chose to race with us this year, and we wish the circumstances were different. We hope to cheer for you at MWP next year!
In lieu of the race we will be having a Family Fun "Loopy Day" with a plethora of games and activities around the park. The Beat The Bunny kids race will still be held, but as a fun run instead! We hope to see you at the park to enjoy a day of fun!
The Loopy Loppet race is our way of capping off the ski season with some fun! Costumes are encouraged for all racers in any of the events. The Loopy Loppet features a selection of trails that historically hold snow very well late in the season: Base Loop, Tornado Alley, Survivor, and Nose Dive Alley.
Choose between skate or classic techniques and pick how many loops you’d like to complete! This year’s format features a one-loop 6km race or a two-loop 12km race.
Awards to overall winners and top three in each age group.
