For the 2011/2012 season, there are three ways to become a sponsor of Minocqua Winter Park.
1. Website and Brochures at MWP - Each business will be allowed up to 3 150×150 pixel photos, up to a 100 word description with your address and phone number and a direct link to your website. Along with this, each business will be allowed to have their promotional brochures or flyers physically placed on our new “Our Sponsoring Partners” wall out at MWP. We get asked for recommendations all the time – we’ll now simply point to the wall or direct them to the MWP website. 2. Product Donations for our “Light Up the Night” Campanile Concert Fundraising Raffle. On Thursday night, December 29th, MWP will be featuring two bands, local boys 22’ Off, and Chicagoland favorites Underwater People at the beautiful Campanile Center in downtown Minocqua. Underwater People, a band noted for their musical diversity and strong vocal harmonies, headlined the Campanile Center last February to rave reviews and now they’re back to help out MWP! The evening’s plan is to have concert goers enjoy the music, bid on silent auction items and buy raffle tickets to put into the “bucket raffles” for items we get donated from folks like you. Products, and gift certificates for food, merchandise or services will all be very much appreciated. Your business will be advertised with both table tent cards on the raffle tables indicating your generous donation and promotional signage for the event. 3. Cash or Product Sponsorship of the Wolf Tracks Rendezvous and/or the Lakeland Loppet Ski Races
On Saturday, February 4th, Winter Park is very excited to host a brand new 43km freestyle ski marathon that will incorporate many of Winter Park’s favorite and most challenging trails. We expect close to 300 racers for this new race which is now filling the void in the ski race calendar left by the demise of the long running Badger State Games ski race.
On Saturday, March 5th, 2011, MWP will host the 36th Lakeland Loppet. This annual ski race
is our biggest fundraiser of the year and draws an estimated 350 racers and their families to the area.
