Learning Landscapes: Winter Park’s Forests

Join us February 10th. Where are the oldest trees in the park? Why have some areas been clear cut? When was the last forest fire?

Join Vice-President of the Lakeland Ski Touring Foundation and forester John Schwarzmann on a guided 2.5-mile snowshoe hike through some of Winter Park’s most unique habitats.

From cedar swamps, to upland oaks, to boreal spruce forests, come and see the forest through the trees!

SATURDAY, FEB 10TH 1-3 PM (Meet at deck by the chalet front door)

This is a FREE event. Donations are greatly appreciated.
